What is Tribella™?

Part 1: Tribella™ Photofacial for Tone
The Tribella™ Photofacial is a light therapy intended to even the skin tone and resolve sun damage.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology is used to penetrate light deep into the surface of the skin.
This light generates heat beneath the skin’s surface which is then absorbed by the unwanted pigment, and dissipates it.
The IPL light targets the hemoglobin pigment present in visible blood vessels and dark spots to reduce them— resulting in even, clear, toned skin.
* Because the photofacial targets the skins’ pigment, it is not recommended for dark skin as it may cause discoloration— but the following two Tribella™ treatments are suitable for all skin tones.
Part 2: Tribella™ Anti-Aging for Tightening
The Tribella™ Anti-Aging treatment utilizes a combination of technologies to increase the skin's natural production of collagen and elastin.
(MP)² technology (a combination of Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electromagnetic
Fields) is used to pierce heat deep into the skin’s tissue to stimulate healthy blood flow to the face.
This increases the skin's natural production of collagen and elastin: the proteins which tighten the skin and make it plump and vibrant. This treatment leaves behind reduced wrinkles, tighter skin, and a rejuvenated appearance.
Part 3: Tribella™ Skin Resurfacing for Texture
The final part of the treatment is Viva Skin Resurfacing which improves uneven texture, pores, and pigmentation.
Nanofractional Radio Frequency energy is used to gently wound the skin without puncturing it, while keeping the surrounding tissue intact for faster healing.
When the skin is wounded and these microchannels are created, its natural healing response is activated— increasing its production of collagen and elastin.
This process restores the health of the skin— improving texture by reducing the appearance of fine lines and pores.
What To Expect From Your Tribella™ Treatment:
Tribella™ Consultation
First things first: always come into the Med Spa for your ✨complimentary consultation✨ to make sure the treatment is right for you.
Pre-Tribella™ Treatment Prep
Once you’re approved for treatment, come into your visit with a clean face! No lotions, creams, makeup, or even piercings blocking the skin.
Also, avoid any irritating skin products or tanning for just a few days before your appointment.
Tribella™ Treatment Session
Everyone’s Tribella™ treatment looks different depending on the skin’s condition and desiredresults.
Your unique treatment will be determined with your skincare professional at your consultation.
A single, three-part, 90-minute session is recommended for teenagers and middle-aged people with minimal pigmentation and scarring.
A single Tribella™ treatment session looks like all three Tribella™ treatments (IPL photofacial, skin tightening, skin resurfacing), one after another, in a single session. This should only be done once every four to five weeks.
On the other hand, a package of multiple sessions is more suitable for mature, aging skin with deeper conditions to target.
Does Tribella™ Hurt?
Each of the Tribella™ treatment devices come with a built-in cooling feature to soothe the skin amidst treatment to minimize discomfort.
Every treatment feels different.
The photofacial feels like a gentle snapping on the skin while the anti-aging treatment is warm, gentle, and reportedly comfortable.
The skin resurfacing treatment may cause more discomfort than the previous two, with the sensation feeling like heat pricking into the skin. However, your skincare professional will ensure it’s suitable for your skin at your consultation.
Tribella™ Side Effects
You may experience mild redness for three to four days after your treatment session, but it will dissipate naturally.
Post-Tribella™ Treatment Aftercare
Avoid makeup for at least one full day (24 hours) after your treatment session.
